The following other elective choices are available to 8th graders with Mr. Lewis:
Industrial Technology
This course is a step in a different direction from metalshop. These students are responsible for building a tower, egg rocket, balsa bridge and CO2 car. All projects have minimum requirements and offer students challenging tasks.
Outdoor Ed.
Is a class designed to get students outside and challenge them in the outdoors. Students cover around a unit a week and topics include the following: Shelter Building, Fire Starting, Fly Tying, Canoeing, Archery, Solar Stills, Fishing and Outdoor Games.
